I am a Russian-born poet, writer, teacher & performing artist.

I have taught courses to the homeless, undergraduates, prison inmates, elementary school kids, high school students & seniors throughout Massachusetts. I've performed my work at the Somerville Center for the Arts, the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, 236 Gallery, the Brookline Booksmith and numerous venues in New England and beyond.

I currently teach private & group workshops, work as a graduate and undergraduate tutor at UMass: Boston and teach at the OLLI Institute. I am a co-founder of the arts collective The Quincy Art House and run spoken word & music reading series The Boston Poetry and Jazz Salon with theater director and pianist Leo Loginov-Katz.
