Ellen Goldstein was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her work has appeared in journals such as The Common, Measure, StorySouth, Solstice, Muddy River Review, and Post Road, as well as in the anthologies Queer South (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2014, Bloomsbury Anthology of Contemporary Jewish American Poetry(Bloomsbury, 2013), Letters to the World (Red Hen Press, 2008), and Not Quite What I Was Planning (HarperCollins, 2006). She lives in Beverly.
