Christopher Hennessy

Christopher Hennessy is the author of three books, including two collections of interviews with gay writers, Outside the Lines: Talking with Contemporary Gay Poets (University of Michigan Press) and Our Deep Gossip: Conversations with Gay Writers on Poetry and Desire (University of Wisconsin Press). His debut book of poems, Love-In-Idleness (Brooklyn Arts Press) was a finalist for the Thom Gunn Award. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and an M.F.A. from Emerson College. He teaches literature and writing at Boston-area colleges. He is a longtime associate editor of The Gay and Lesbian Review-Worldwide and has published his poetry, book reviews, and interviews widely.
