Tanya Chien

Tanya Chien came from Taiwan and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan’s capital city. She graduated from Soochow University. There she majored in Chinese Literature. She has published four books, including three books of prose and one collection of poems. She received a prize from a poetry competition in October 2014. She has lived with her family on the North Shore since 2010.
